Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a router? Yes
Did you set a static IP on the PC running Kai? Yes, in the router IP pool
Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP? Yes
Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable? Yes
What console are you using? GameCube
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup:
Cable modem -> router
PC running XLinkKai -> router
GameCube -> switch ->router
Model numbers of the router, and modem?
- RCA DCM-315 cable modem
- D-Link DI-624 router
- D-Link DSS-5+ switch
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it?
Just internal Windows XP firewall - completely disabled for this configuration
Operating System?
Windows XP Pro, SP3
Problem description?
Perpetual "Establishing" in the player status panel... All other parameters are fine, like reachable network, correctly detected and configured console, can even see what the ping is by cycle-clicking on a folder icon... But connection between consoles is not being established. Using the last stable version of Kai, i.e. 7.3.1.7
