Setup is Win2k comp on wireless to a Dlink Wireless router and a patch cable to the xbox from the router.

Comp IP is 192.168.0.102 and xbox is 192.168.0.101 Zonealam is set to give kai full access and net security is set to medium. I have tried with zonealarm off also.

I turn on xbox, and xlink in every order I can think of. Xlink can always sign on so I guess that means I don't have to port foward, but I can't see the xbox. I can FTP into the xbox fine.

Kai does show that it's online and I Can browse arenas and such

Any ideas? Thanks!

Also in the Xlink configuration tool should I be setting the ports used to anything in particular? And what about the local vs any ip setting?

Just because xlink signs on doesnt mean you dont have to forward. forwarding is done in the user config txt file in your kai install dir. And you cant forward ports to a dhcp client.

Oh, cuz the faq said if you can log on you prolly don't need to port foward. So where would I got to figure out what ports to foward? And I thought I would have to foward ports on my router?

EDIT: Thanks for the help in chat and i did set port 3000 to foward for both, still no love. I am pretty sure XBConnect used to work on my setup.... any other ideas what I might have set wrong? Thanks again!
