What Could Problem Be?

Last night, I tried to play Rallisport Challenge 2 with a guy from Brazil and it just didn't seem to work right. I tried hosting and he couldn't see me and he tried hosting and I couldn't see him either.

I just didn't understand why it wouldn't work because I could see him (ping, name, everything) in the Kai UI. Matter fact, prior to that I played a game of Forza with him and we connected fine.

Is this just a rare occurrence or is something acting up somewhere on our ends? Because I'm always playing with guys from Italy and Colombia.

It could be that he has a different version of the game but without knowing the exact game version we wont know

their is an XBOX Live update for RalliSport 2 .. if one has it and the other doesn't you will be unable to see each others games .. this has been tested and is a fact.

if you know you have the update you can delete it by deleting the save game for it.

if your running the game off of your harddrive it is possible to obtain these updates via 'other' methods than XBL.

I would say the port forward, but when i read the part that u already played another game with him, i discarded that.

Ah! That must be it then. Would've never thought about that since there's no patched & unpatched rooms for Rallisport 2.

Curiosity drives me nuts, so I'll definitely ask if he has a patched version next time I see him.
