Hey!
I can't get kai working on XP, so I installed a virtual PC...
I would like to connect to the internet on the VM, but it looks different than on Vista... could anyone help me please?
(I would like to connect LAN on the router and try, if my integrated W-LAN Card works...)
This is Vista (i would know how to do it, but unfortunately Kai doesnt want to work on it...)
This is XP, the virtual machine ( i dont really know how to use XP)
Please help me, i wanna get it working before the release of MH:FU |

how can i find out?
the virtual pc is 2,72 GB big and is called "xp_SP2 - Harddrive.vhd", but theres a second file, which was created automatically when i installed the xp_SP2 - Harddrive.vhd, called exactly the same, but a different logo and only 12.5 KB big...
But please tell me how i can find that out ( i dont know if this is what you mean)...
thanks |

You have to be using some sort of software to start the Virtual Machine as its impossible to run it on its own. Theres some program you must start to turn on the Virtual Machine |

i just doubleclick the xp_SP2 - Harddrive.vhd icon on the desktop and it opens :S
And the other file called xp_SP2 - Harddrive.vhd (exactly the same, size: 2.72 GB) was given to me by a friend, just drag'n'dropped it from usb stick to desktop... |

Ok can i make one thing VERY clear. You CANNOT just run a .vhd file without having a program to run it. Something like vmWare OR Microsoft Virtual Machine is needed to run it so we cant help until you find out whats running the .vhd file |

well when you said it came from another pc theres your problem because according to ms in the vpc help it says that part of it bonds to the 1st pc it was run on unless you use sysprep on it. or simply you didnt select your nework adapters in the ms vpc settings |
