Hi.
I'm one of those unfortunate Wifi Max users that can no longer use their device on the new Windows 7 with 64-bit architecture.
So, I decided to install the official Virtual PC and the Windows XP virtua machine (downloaded directly from MS' website). I managed to get Wifi Max working on that Virtua Machine but when I'm about to run xlink Kai I get an error which says this:
Code:
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\XLink Kai\kaiEngine.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Use Virtualbox instead of VirtualPC.
Even easier and better in my opinion.

Whenever this happens to me it means the process for Xlink Kai is still running in the background. Run the task manager and end the process. It should be under "Kai Engine", or something around that area.
