xlink kai installation problem

Hello

I installed my adaptor just fine (i have a GW-US54Mini2W, so it is compatible for both windows and mac).

The Problem:
However, when I installed xlink kai beta, it would not open. I have a mac (power pc) version 10.3. So i tried the following:
- uninstalling and reinstalling again
- tried restarting
- tried updating software
- tried kaid commander (couldnt open because it kept saying "the variable confRef is not defined (-2753)")
- tried amaryllis (could not connect)
- i followed these guides:

I believe my mac does not recognize xlink kai beta. It only recognizes kai commander. The only thing is, (as i mentioned before) it keeps saying "the variable confref is not defined (-2753)" everytime i try to save.
