Don't worry about the port forward if your network is reachable, it's probably not the problem.
Do you have an official PS2 bba? |

Ok i tried to help you on MSN
but you paranoid little butt has just closed this case.
The problem was
Quote: |
Q. Get 'configuration failed' in Diagnostics Mode.
A. If it's an XBox, your're crazy If you see a status for your XBox you should be good to go. If it is a GameCube or PS2, it is most likely you have another DHCP server on your network stopping Kai from issuing the IP for the GameCube or PS2.
There are 3 things you can do to solve the problem.
1. Disable DHCP and set static IP's for your computers. See
http://webrun.net/~allprotr/diehard/tutorials/static.html
http://www.packetme.com/misc/2nic.html
http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=quickstart
for setting static IP's with WinXP
2. Just block the MAC address of your console in your router.
3. Set the DHCP scope so it only has enough IP's for your PC's.
The GameCube and PS2 need to get their IPs from Kai in order to function properly. (Also applies to homebrew XBox games / apps / emus)

Since you think im a hacker and just want to mess with your stuff. You can just figure it out on your own. |
