Xlink Aid Plug-in by Coldbird for CFW users

This is a plug-in created for CFW PSP users (using the Adhoc to USB plug-in) to play some SSID swapping games like FF Dissidia or God Eater.

It was made and tested by two Kai users, Coldbird and Zonkaholix, so full credits/respect to them for making it. Taken from their original post ( http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=217228 ) here is their install guide:

How to set up Xlink Aid Plugin.

1.) Unpack the archive

2.) We need only these files

3.) Make a USB connection to your computer

4.) Open the seplugins folder and put the files (xlinkaid.prx, xlinkaiduser.prx, autojoin.txt) in the folder

5.) Open the game.txt file...

6.) and write this: ms0:/seplugins/xlinkaid.prx 1

7.) Save the game.txt file

8.) Congratulations, you did it! Razz

How to use autojoin:

A few games like God Eater change the SSID (Wlan name)and we can't play online because the joiner's PSP is searching for hoster in local area.
But we can fix it with autojoin.txt .

First we need the SSID from the hoster (Game launcher), ask him and if he says PSP_AULJS00237_L_fe7dffaf then you need only the text after _L_ => fe7dffaf .

If he doesnt know what you mean, then ask him for his MAC Adress (PSP: Settings -> System Settings -> System Information)

If his MAC Adress is 00:11:22:33:44:55 for example, then we need only the last 8 digits. => 22334455

Set up autojoin.txt

1.) Open autojoin.txt

2.) Write the SSID digits after _L_ ... like fe7dffaf or 22334455 (MAX. 16 SSID's, without _L_ )

3.) Save it.

UPDATE: Sometimes, if someone sends a invitation card to a player and the player rejects, then you might not be able to see him/her anymore(not forever, until you do the method again.)

I was testing this with another guy yesterday on PW and it didn't seem to work Sad

I tried hosting a VS. match and my PSP hang on the loading screen with the peace symbol. I couldnt even get into my game :/
And when I tried to coop, the other guy didnt see any Match.
But Im not giving up lol

I changed from D2 to D3, hope that can fix it tho...
I just need someone to test it with me.
And one question, are USA and EUR versins compatible to connect to each other?

Hm, I don't think so, because I remember when I was testing some games and still testing with Hawk. He told that he want me to test Socom FTB3 with him & he said that I make sure to have the EUR version. So, I think that EUR won't work with USA & USA won't work with EUR.

I tested yesterday PW with this plugins and an US guy (I'm French with a French PW)
I was able to join his extra ops game but can't play with him (error connecting to host, he didn't send me his SSID so I don't write it in autojoin.txt).

Also, I saw my wifi ssid without the 6 ending letters, just PSP_XXXX_L_ and nothing more, is that normal?

Do I need to write my own SSID in autojoin.txt in order to make it works?

You & him need each other's SSID and the last 8 digits of both of your MAC adresses.

You need to change the autojoin everytime you join a host.

. By the way, my internet got fixed, but I will need to change ISP, because the current ISP is only sending us 300kb of internet speed when they are supposed to send 8MB. When we're done changing ISP, hope we can test games with each other again Very Happy
