Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? Tested Both Ways
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: Internet -> Router (w/ built in Cable Modem). Xbox is connected via cat5 cable to router, while PC connects wirelessly. It is the 802.11g standard, with no interuptions.

Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? While setting up Kai, i have disabled BOTH the software and router firewall.
Operating System? WinXP pro sp2
Problem description? My xbox is recognized & configured, I can access the network, and i am use port 1338. However, on my xbox (no matter which game), i cannot view Hosted games. The only option i have on the 'box is to "Create a game".

kaiPort=1338
kaiDeepPort=0
kaiAccept=ALL
kaiTimeout=NOUI
kaiNIC=2
kaiLaunch=BOTH
kaiHomebrew=OFF
kaiPAT=OFF
kaiAutoLogin=ON
kaiAllowBadNICS=ON
kaiWireless=
kaiUI=Default

I had to manually pick my nic card in the config tool, otherwise it would not detect my xbox.

Look for 'Incompatible Wireless Network Setups'.

Read the section on wireless stuff. Your network card will not perform under promiscious mode, hence you will never be able to use it while on Kai. Your best alternative is to hardwire this PC to the router (or if you've got another PC hooked up to the router, run Kai off that)

That's not a Wireless Ethernet Bridge, it's just a USB wireless card in practice. It's for PC's only.

The Linksys WET11 is what you'd be looking for. It is designed to work with consoles (XBox particularly). However, neither of these actually solve your problem. You need to either hardwire the PC or find a wireless network card that performs in promiscious mode.

A few minutes of googling found that Orinoco seem to have a good range of wireless products that perform in promisc. mode. Alas, if you can compile your own drivers, you too could have promisc. mode working Very Happy

Assuming this problem solved.
