So I take it you are using a wire from your pc network card to the PS3?
Well for ps2 I found that using wireless to the pc then running a wire to the ps2 from the PC would not work right when using internet connectino sharing. Yet for some reason, if I bridge the wired network card and wireless network card together on the PC's network configuration section and run a standard ethernet cable from the Wired network card to the ps2. Xlink Kai runs fine. I have heard the same setup is needed for others who get wireless to the pc. You might want to try it.
To simply things even more, if at all possible, try wiring your pc to the router as well. As it would cut out some more variables in your troubleshooting. Wireless internet from my experience makes things a lot more complicated for setting up xlink kai (at least for ps2).
Like while on ICS when having wireless to the PC from the router and a wire from the pc to ps2, my network would be reachable, but I could not see any games people hosted. I think it might have also said my ps2 failed to configure, but I cant remember. |
