Try a system restore, that may work or, completely uninstall/reinstall your Wifi max, it might be a driver conflict or failure. Remember to install Wifi Max the drivers with Admin compatibilty/privailages. |

I have formatted Pc. They are the first usb drivers that install in that usb port.
If don't wrong in Xp there aren't Admin compatibilty/privailages, anyway I have only one profile. |

I don't think. Pc is totally formatted and Antivirus/firewall is update every day. If I plug it without driver, pc don't freeze, but when I go to isntall driver and plug it to pc, it frezee... |

Dude, if your whole computer freezes when you try to install a new device, it definitely must be because of a malware. I can't give you any other piece of advice but to reclean/recheck or formate your hard drive.

It's not due to the Wifi Max in itself...this adapter remains perfectly good and reliable for Kai. Don't say that; you might have had the same problem with a Planex adapter.
Try to install the Wifi Max into a different port, try to install an another device which requires an usb port and see how it goes. |

Maybe is poor english. I said in other thread that Datel wifi max is a sh*t, while Planex Kai adapter is perfect to kai.
Datel wifi max is very hard to configure, while Planex Kai adapter no.
Scan antivirus = no virus
Pc is clean for sure because it was formatted only a few days ago.
Thank you for your help, I say really.... is only so frustrating..
Do you know a way to clean all usb intallation?.
I have two usb port.
One there is my epson printer, other usb is free and clean, nothing installed (only sometime I connect a usb card reader)...in this port I try to install datel wifi max.
P.s. I tried to install Nokia software to connect mobile phone to pc and all work perfectly. |

This the first time I have ever heard of a white Wifi Max causing computers to freeze during its installation, really.
At any rate, you're the first one to report it so don't state they are "shit" and not reliable until other people come over here with a similar story.
Many people still believe the Wifi Max are the only compatible adapters for Kai which is way enough not to let any confusion spread around. |
