AdhocToUSB & God Eater Burst.
So after some testing, we conclude that GOD EATER BURST (GEB) WILL NOT WORK WITH ADHOCTOUSB ALONE.
USERS MUST USE ANOTHER PLUG-IN AS WELL- SPECIFICALLY Coldbird's 'GOD EATER SPECIAL XLINK AID'.
Notes/Info:
* This was released last year for the first God Eater but luckily for us, still works with GEB
* In our tests (using CFW's 5.50 GEN Prom-4 & 6.35 PRO-3) BOTH of us were using the ADHOCTOUSB AND the GOD EATER SPECIAL AID plug-ins.
* IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL PLAYERS USE BOTH PLUG-INS TO PLAY GEB.
* THIS PLUG-IN IS FOR THE GOD EATER GAMES ONLY AND WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER GAME.
* WE COULD NOT GET THE ORIGINAL 'KAI AID' TO WORK WITH GEB SO ADVISE USERS TO USE THE GAME SPECIFIC, GOD EATER SPECIAL XLINK AID.
* We didn't test it with regular wireless adapters. We know it's SSID changes so a manual SSID swap would be required for non-CFW users, whereas wireless adapter CFW users could use the God Eater Special Aid.
Installation:
All you need is the two prx's (xlinkaid.prx & xlinkaiduser.prx) in your PSP 'seplugins' folder, this line: ms0:/seplugins/xlinkaid.prx 1 in the 'game.txt', and have the plug-in enabled in your recovery. Simply host or join the quest and start - that's it.
Download:
See the original source of the GOD EATER SPECIAL AID post and download the plug-in here:

Or here: http://www.mediafire.com/?b6ve7iig6pg83e1
All credit and thanks go to Coldbird (and team??) & Yuki-Mi for the AdhocToUSB.
Problems, thoughts, issues with God Eater games etc, please post on this thread.

No, this isn't really working. We see each other, but after trading avatar cards or accepting a mission all members but the host get disconnected:/
Guess we'll have to wait for Coldbirds patch |

the plugin work fine
here are my finding
as the plugin hides the last part of the ssid into PSP_AULUS10563_L_
it make autoswapping for both wifi user and adhoctousb but with some
limitation.
For OFW (as in you use a wifi adaptor and yeah you
cant use the plugin but..)
you can host and join to other ppl with a wifi adaptor
you can host and other ppl with adhoctousb can join
you cant join ppl that are on adhoctousb
For CFW (as in you use the adhoctousb plugin)
you can host and join to other ppl with a wifi adaptor and adhoctousb
...well all type of connection are possible (if the other side has everything correct installed)
For CFW (as in you use a wifi adaptor)
the same from adhoctousb
you connect to the ssid PSP_AULUS10563_L_
that ssid it will not change
if the plugin doesnt hide the last part from the ssid you cant join to ppl with adhoctousb |

My last post was a pure scrubby comment lol. I misread the whole op and thought he was asking for users to test the GE's plugin with Adhoctousb and report results.
tl;dr - It's possible for two CFW/Hen users to connect playing GEB as long as they both use the GE's plugin and Adhoctousb.
If you failed connecting to your friend using the underlined pattern then it's due to a third-party reason, like not being portforwarded.
Now, I wonder if Coldbird is even aware that his old plugin works no shit with GEB since they said on this page he is already making a new one.

Is this port forwarding really necessary? I'd rather not change my dynamic into a static ip:( |

@Pangary
You need to check who in your party is using OFW and CFW as this makes a difference. See Annhell's 1st post above for GEB limitations. |

I don't think that list is correct.
I'm currently on 6.35 PRO-B3 using adhoctousb V2 and the God Eater Special Xlink Aid plugin.
The PC that i've got my PSP hooked up to is in a DMZ.
When I host, some people can join but most end up failing. There doesn't seem to be any consistency between firmware or PSP model, as some have been on 6.35, some on 6.20, and some on 5.xx.
I have not managed to successfully connect to anybody's game. At all. I've tried over multiple days and multiple games but I haven't been able to connect to any games at all even when other people have been able to connect.
It doesn't tie in. |

You're confusing both IPs, the external and the internal ones. There is no risk changing the latter, that's the only one which matters.
Just apply the part 2 of my guide you used so far (the Belkin one if I recall well). |

@xenomos
As above, you need to have both prx's in your PSP seplugins folder, but only the xlinkaid.prx shows up in the PSP recovery menu, so just enable that |

I am having problems joining other people's session. I am able to join the party and see the other users, but as soon as the session is started, my PSP starts to look for the host locally and I am unable to join the session. However when I host a session I am able to have others join me. So I believe it might have something to do with the adhoctousb plugin.
I am using the following
PSPgo
cfw 6.35 pro-b2
xlinkaid
xlinkaiduser
adhoctousb
xlink kai
bridge v2
I have tried with only xlinkaid enabled and with both xlinkaid and xlinkaiduser enabled. Kai and bridge both recognize my psp just fine. Anyone have any suggestions? |

2nd point on the NOTES/INFO above:
"* In our tests (using CFW's 5.50 GEN Prom-4 & 6.35 PRO-3) BOTH of us were using the ADHOCTOUSB AND the GOD EATER SPECIAL AID plug-ins".
We only tried with both of us using it but it worked so i'd say you both need it. |
