Are you using a port-forward? yes
Is your console being detected? yes
Brief description of your network setup: Im using a Dlink DI-604 router
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? I dont think so, maybe
Operating System? XP Home
Problem description? It wont let me connect to games. I see them on my tv and when i try to connect, it says failed link, and it wont join. Ive only tried it on Halo, becasue thtas the only game I want to play online.

That software firewall is your problem. Find out more about it and report back here.

Do you use Norton Internet Security? Look through your Control Panel's Add / Remove Programs for anything you might think is a firewall. Some things you might find

Outpost
Sygate
Zonelabs

but there are lots more possibilities.

Could be the Windows firewall. Right click on My network places, go to properties. The right click on your internet connection (or LAN) and go to properties. On the top you will see an advance tab, click it and make sure the Windows XP firewall is off.

Also with your router, you should not have to port forward. If you still have problems hit me on MSN.

NAV 2005 has an Internet Worm Protection crap thing that thinks Kai is a problem - haha.

Disable that, it's utterly useless if you use WindowsXP + SP2.
