Recently I joined xlink kai and did all the stuff needed for bridge connection. I can play MHP3 online adhoc now and my pc can detect my psp, but my psp won't open up normally when I go into usb mode now. I have a 6.35 cfw. and I have a 64 bit laptop.

Check your PSP settings in recovery mode and/or the PSP settings in the XMB VSH menu, you may have changed one of the options accidently. I wouldn't touch any of your Kai or pc settings as it seems you have that working, which many users (including myself in the past) struggle to do

As Hawk said, go to the recovery menu and disable the plug-in from there whenever you want to connect your PSP to your computer, or you can just simply go to your recovery menu and from there choose Toggle USB and it should work properly.

Thanks for the tip even though I didn't use it. I don't know what a recovery menu is. Is it the vsh menu when you click select? All I did was just uninstall the libus idk for psp typa and then reinstalled it.

You can access the recovery menu by turning your PSP fully off by holding the power button for like 4 seconds, then turn it on and hold the right trigger (R button) and you should be in the recovery menu. From there, go down to "Plugins" and disable the AdHocToUSB.prx.

Hi I am having the same problem. I can't access my psp memory stick via pc. Also, like OP, my adhoctousb now works and I can play with people on xlink.

In recover menu/configuration, I have xmb USB device set to memory stick. I have my adhoctousb.prx disabled. I've restarted my pc and have not run bridge.exe. When I use "toggle usb", nothing happens. Are there certain things I have to disable on my pc (i.e. winpcap) to let it detect my psp as a storage device again?

Thanks in advance.

Not really sure, but try this to check if it's your PC: Go to your recovery menu and choose the first option which says " Toggle USB ". If you're PSP is connected, then maybe you haven't disabled all the required plug-ins for your PSP.. Re-Check your disabled plug-ins.
