my ps3 mac is blue, my network is rechable its working but when i go to lan to find a match nothing shows up

Hi there I'm bound to sound ignorant but I just installed XLink so go easy on me? I tried getting the 1.09 patch from brewology but could only get the most recent one, 1.12. Also googling generally returns the same article, just announcing that there ís a 1.09 patch but not actually giving download links.
My network is reachable and my PS3 can be found but I can't find any games (any games at all) for the PS3 so I'm not sure whether the version's the problem or whether it's some configuration still being wrong.
Can anyone tell me where to get the 1.09 patch? Thanks for your patience.
