I'm not sure, but it sounds like you're using two network cards. If that's the case the best thing to do is follow the walkthrough at www.packetme.tk

only one network card and the modem is usb

Tick 'Allow Dangerous NICs' in the Kai Config. Tool. See how you go.

i did all of the packetme steps execpt disable DHCP dont know how to do that, and i tryed to enable dangerous NIC's but theres only a show dangerous NIC's and i clicked that, also for kai use should that be left on select a profile or changed to normal kai use, and my ports remain the same? network adapter auto detect and lock or should i select my network ethernet?

Select your NIC that the console is connected to.

Update: User did not respond within 5 days. Setting to Problem Solved.
