As mentioned above I have absolutely no idea on how to install programs on Linux(just got it setup today) I downloaded the file, but I can't figure out how to install it. I'm on the Easy Peasy(https://www.linux.com/directory/Distributions/embeddedmobile/easypeasy) version of Linux(it appears to be a variant of ubuntu). Does any one know what I need to do?

OK, I can get it to install kai, but it wants a password, and when I go to enter I always run out of time(I'm trying to install it through the terminal). Does anyone know how to remove the password entirely, and disable the option to require a password?

That password is your computer user password, not kai. (The kai engine needs to be sudoed to work correctly)

You can change the permissions for the kai executable to not ask for the suro password by editing /etc/sudoers with 'sudo visudo' and adding a line like: 'yourusername ALL = NOPASSWD: /path/to/kaiengine'

The only file there is entitled readme, and it won't let me access it. Am I supposed to create a new file or folder?

EDIT: It also won't let me modify the folder to add anything either.

EDIT2: I finally figured out what you meant, however it doesn't help with my problem, because it's still asking for my password.

Alright this is officially the worst way I've had to install a program. I changed the password so that it's short enough that I can enter it in the allotted time, and it won't accept it. It asks for my sudo password I give it my computers password and it won't install it. Any ideas on what it's going on about(and yes I am logged in as the root user and have all administrator privileges)?

EDIT: Also is the root password different form the computer password?

Alright I finally figured it out. Now to figure out how to either 1.) make Mozilla Firefox my default browser or 2.) make Google Chrome run as root.

EDIT: Never mind I finally figured out something. See you on line in MHFU(once I get ad-hoc to USB set up of course).

EDIT II: Ad-Hoc To USB running, now to figure out how to get it to run at the same time as Kai(just run two terminals right?).

EDIT III: Have everything running except for my PSP, which needs a new battery.

EDIT IV: Apparently I just wasn't plugging in the charger far enough, so My PSP is running and all I need now is the time to play it.
