Where can I find win32 version 7.4.18 for download?

I'm running linux and apparently an outdated version since the windows version is ahead of the linux release.

So if I can get my friends to run the same version on win32, we should be able to connect, right? Or am I just SOL here?

The builds for windows, linux and mac are different hence the different versions/numbers. Its recommended that you and your friends use the latest version of kai for your OS. There should be no trouble connecting to each other if you run the latest linux version and your friends the latest windows version.

Well, I'm confused now. Why does it tell me to download version 7.4.24 when I log into xlink kai then? I'm running the most current linux version.

Also, when I run Xlink linux, I get the local host address page in firefox and that's it, nothing more than the chat. I used to run it on windows years ago, and it had a separate window that appeared, like when using MSN or yahoo messenger, and from there I could host games and edit my settings. Am I missing something, or this normal? I thought this was because of a version mismatch, but I guess not.

7.4.24 is windows only at the moment if your linux version 7.4.18 tells you to update ignore it. Enter http://127.0.0.1:34522/config.htm in your browser to enter the config, from there you should be able to set what "kai windows" you want to use. Alternatively you can run kai for windows in a virtual machine if you prefer the windows version.
