You have to give your pc and xbox a static ip and port forward port 30000 udp.
KaiUserConfig.txt is located in

-Windows Vista/7: C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Xlink Kai\KaiUserConfig.txt
-Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Application Data\Xlink Kai\KaiUserConfig.txt

it could be that the folders are hidden heres a way to make them vusible--> http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/394-hidden-files-folders-show-hide.html

Here is a guide for creating a static ip--> http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm if youre too lazy to do it manually heres a tool for the job--> http://portforward.com/help/setup_static_ip_address.htm

For port forwarding go to--> http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm and pick your router, again if youre too lazy heres a tool for the job--> http://www.simpleportforwarding.com/ a little video guide on how to use the tool--> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdcjuVbSGaE and a port checker to see if you forwarded the port correctly--> http://www.pcwintech.com/simple-port-tester

you have to set your network adapter for your pc as adapter in the kai config leaving it on auto might cause problems.

Good Luck !
