Hey I am new to kai and I have recently registered my xtag and configured kai and am using an adapter. Here is the problem I have followed the instructions and quick start guide and read the forums but am still having problems connecting with kai. I have installed ASUS-N13 wireless N adapter and I have enabled it to xlink mode. But it won't connect to my psp. It can detect it but once I connect it says under the status that it is unconnected. Another problem is every time I check the properties advanced function on my adapter to check how it is configured
xlink mode is disabled right after enabling it. My problem is I can't connect to my psp and I cant keep xlink mode enabled.

ps: My psp is configured properly to ad hoc and channnel 1 and xlink kai is configured to the adapter.

Hi.Do you have a wired connection from the router to the PC?
I don't have an asus n-13 wireless n adapter. but...

http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=evo7:error_initializing_pssdk......plz look here for reference?
You installed USB adapter's driver software under Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility and enable Run As Administrator?

You try setting directly from the Windows “Control Panel” and open up “Device Manager”.

If there are no "PSP Xlink mode",i think that you must reinstall the adapter's driver.
*in order of >.... PC restart > pick up an electric wave adapter of PSP at adapter > kai start

I've already done all that, and "Enable PSP Xlink mode" is available for selection, I have installed new drivers for my wireless adapter to get that. However, after enabling the mode it automatically disables the mode again. And I'm using a wireless connection for my router.

contention between ASUS N-13 utility and other utility?
Zero Configuration Tool(win xp)=WLAN AutoConfig Service (win vista)

http://www.home-network-help.com/wlan-autoconfig.html

I recommend to use the win vista utility WLAN AutoConfig and also wired connection between the PC from the router.

Yes I have used the advanced settings through the device manager and enabled xlink mode. But once I check the configuration again it is automatically disabled. By the way I have a wireless connection through my router.

Do you use the adapter that you want to use for your psp to connect to your router ? If yes it wont work because the adapter can only handle one connection, either wifi internet or adhoc mode.
