Hi all.
I have a dekstop computer and a router/modem (it's a router and a modem in one box) by what i understood from the diagram at the help page, I should connect the xbox360 to the modem/router and the modem/router to the computer running xlink-kai ( - no cable between the xbox and the computer right?)
my question is - when i connect the xbox to the router/modem won't it connect automatically to xbox live (something i can't afford because i have a jtag)? is their any way to prevent xbox from ever connecting to xbox live?

Go to your xbox360 gamer profile and disable automatically connect to xboxlive.
