Are you using a router?
yes. Both the xbox and the computer is wired to the router.
Did you set a static IP on the PC running Kai?
yes.
Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP?
yes. it asks for a starting port and an end port i put 30000 on both fields.
Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable?
I have no idea what the globe icon is. i see no globe icon on the xlink kai program.
What console are you using?
xbox 360
Is your console being detected?
no. also the xbox doesn't recognize it is connected to a network. when i enter network configuration or when i load a game and choose system link it says the console is not connected.

Can't connect to network (netwrok not reachable) plus my xbox doesn't recognize it is connected.

Do you have a firewall security option called "enable anonymous internet requests" ? If its disabled enable it. Have you checked if the port you forwarded is really open ? Heres a simple tool to test it--> http://www.pcwintech.com/simple-port-tester

The port is enable (test was successfull). however i can't find an option to enable Anonymous Internet Requests on my router (i have a d-link dsl router). i've checked the windows firewall option and couldn't find anything there.

I meant your router firewall options, have you checked if theres anything that might block kai ? As a test disable your router firewall and test if kai works if it does we have to tweak your firewall so that its active and allows kai to work.
