If you did follow my guide perfectly, it comes from the others' side then.

Hello, I'm following your guide, I come to the point where you have to manually select the file "rt73.inf", but I get an error message:

Image

p.s. the adapter is K7SF5D7050A on xp sp3

As I've finally checked the source on my own, I can tell that only the version 3 of this model supports the RT73 chipset and not the version 2. About time to figure the mistake, sorry for the trouble.

Unplug your adapter, get on this page, click on "USB RT2500(USB)" then "Accept" at the bottom.

Download and run the .exe, keep pressing on Next and select "Microsoft Zero Configuration" as the utility. Plug the adapter once you've gone through each step, it should get installed automatically.

You can then go back to the guide in order to enable the Psp Xlink Mode in the device manager.

ok, adapter installed. Now I have driver with "psp xlink mode active", xlink kai 7.4 with "network reachable (yes)" and "psp configured successfully"...
Why I still do not see others players in game?
The game is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, I tried both pssdk\winpcap...
I followed your guide, I tried the options you have suggested and others too... I'm still alone in game, why?

Can be because of several things. If you followed my guide to the letter, succeeding the portforwarding and all, it comes from the people you're trying to play with.

Can't be of more help at this point.

Yeah, I know all my guides have been having dead images for quite some time. It's that I was young and dumb enough to host them on Facebook back then. I'm in the process of re-uploading them on a proper image hosting service for each guide, slowly but surely. For now, they have been re-uploaded for the Vista/7 guide of this thread.

Next guide I'm re-uploading images for is the one for the Nintendo's wifi adapter since someone requested it.

That wiki's guide only works on 32 Bits while the method shown in my guide here is universal: it works both on 32 and 64 Bits.
