Hello, I've been a registered member here for a year or so now, but have not been active at all really.

I tried out the service shortly after registering, only to realize that it didn't work properly with wireless networks/wifi. Do to the way my apt is set up, running an Ethernet cable from my router to where my xbox 360 is located is out of the question. It would be really cumbersome unless I put staples in the wall and the management where I live wouldn't appreciate that too much Laughing.

I didn't think a solution to the wifi incompatibilities would ever be found due to system link/lan games expecting very little lag/latency etc and being thrown way off by the lag of not only using the internet, but tossing wifi into the mix.

Much to my surprise, I came back here a couple of days ago to check things out, and sure enough some wireless configurations are now supported! I'm thrilled about this! Good work team xlink!!!! Very Happy.

From what I can tell, everything since A-ok with my network setup (console configured successfully, network reachable etc), now I just need to find some people to play with to know for sure Razz. I live stateside in the new england area, so if anyone else is in my "neck of the woods" add me to your contacts and hopefully we're close enough (distance wise) to eachother to play.

I mainly play first person shooters on my xbox 360 such as Halo and the COD series, but I'm open to just about any genre (as long as I have the game you're looking to play of course Razz).

I also have a Wii (although I'm not sure if it works on Xlink Kai in gcn mode or not), and a ps2 and some other older console kickin' around that will NEVER be compatible with Xlink (Sega Saturn or PSX/One anyone? Laughing )

Well just wanted to say hello and make a quick introduction. So much for the "quick" part lol.

If gcn games can be played over Xlink Kai on an original Wii Console, I'm open to playing anything on that. Even if I don't have the game currently. Gcn games go for a dime a dozen these days Laughing. I can always pick up a copy of w/e game you're looking to play with me (gamestop/ebay anyone?).

Ur looking at Kirby Air Ride, Mario Kart Double Dash and 1080 Snowboarding. MKDD was pretty popular back in the day. U can still pick up the USB ethernet adapter for Wii. Their fairly cheap and easy to come by unlike the GCN's BBA which was $40 and rare lol or at least it was hard for me to find.
