Problem:
1. Whenever I launch Xlink Kai, It shows a kaiEngine error message: "Can't read value of 'HKCR\http\shell\open\DDEExec\topic' (error 2: the system cannot find the file specified.)"
2.
_I start Kai, join in MH3rd room
_Run bridge. press 0 then 2
_Go into Online Guild Hall
_Connect the PSP using the USB cable
_The PSP freeze, make a "tack" sound then Shut down
_This message show on bridge:
"usb_bulk_read() error: -5 usb_reap: reaping request failed, win error: A device attached to the system is not functioning"
PSP System Software: 6.20 PRO-C2
On my PC i installed:
_Winpcap
_MS Loopback Adapter
_Xlink Kai
This is my Xlink Kai config: (I changed the port to 30000 btw)
_PSP Type B base on this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9ar8cubtDc
(I tried other ways but Xlink Kai only found console when i use this method. It still show PSP type A when I use USB connection on my PSP though)
On my PSP:
_ Copied "AdhocToUSB.prx" into "ms0:/seplugins/"
_Wrote "ms0:/seplugins/AdhocToUSB.prx 1" in game.text

As of the registry problem that can be fix by following the link below.
http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43499
I'm very sure this error got nothing to do with the port you using.
I also have no idea about the other problem as not a PSP user. Is your USB cable mess up, or maybe uninstall the driver and re-install it? |
