Socom Confrontation

Will it be possible to add Socom Confrontation on the PS3 Arena since they have already shut down the server.

This has been added now and can be found in:

Arena>PS3>Third Person Shooter>SOCOM Confrontation.

Oh thats great! Thanks heaps!..now if we could see a guide of how to connect the ps3 to xlink servers will be much appreciated or a link to a previous post..cheers mate!

It's a little outdated now as the latest version of Kai works with PS2/PS3 now. You could also check out my adapted guide here: http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43559

It's essentially a rehashed version for the PS2 but the set-up principles are the same. So easiest way to config PS2 or PS3 with Kai is just to connect your console via ethernet to the PC that's running Kai.

Since confrontation doesnt have lan it wont be possible to play it because it requires psn to play. so is there a way being developed for us to play it?

I was about to say the same thing..I have setup the connection and im ready to play but I cant access due to the requirements of a PSN to connect online. If you could develop a way from the experts that will be sweet

Ermmm so it was sort of pointless adding the arena then gents! I assumed it would have had a LAN option like the rest of them Sad

I'm not sure any dev can add an option such as this to a game after it has been produced...

oh well time to dust off the ps2 and play socom 2
