Anyone able to connect with a Intel(R) WiFi Link 1000 BGN?

Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? Yes
Is your console being detected? Yes (I see it in metrics)
Brief description of your network setup: Laptop connected by wire to router and connect to PSP with laptops WiFi Link 1000 BGN
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? I don't use a firewall.
Operating System? Windows 7 (I have tried xlink kai in compatibility mode for xp with sp2 and sp3)
Problem description? I see my psp in metrics but I'm not able to see any players when I enter the online gathering hall in MHFU

I've checked for psp xlink mode in the advanced settings of the wifi card and it's not there.

I've tried running promicdetect.exe and I just get this as output....

Not sure what that Atheros adapter even is it's not listed in my device manager but I can't tell if my wifi link has promiscuous mode or not. And if it does I couldn't figure out a way to turn it on or off using the adminstrator tool for it.

If anyone has tried this before I'd appreciate any help or a point in the right direction if there is some other way to get this to work without buying a usb adapter.

hi.i'm also having the same problem. I've enabled the adhoc 11n mode, and my laptop detected my psp. in the kai metric tab it says that the console was found but i can't see anyone in the hall Confused

however, in the diagnostics mode, only the MAC address is shown, it didnt state whether the console was successfully configured or not.

Unfortunately, Windows device driver for Atheros AR9285 doesn't support promiscuous mode. You must buy Kai compatible adapter.
