My ps2 is found, I am reachable, my port #30000 is open, and that is the one that my kai is configured to use. I am all wired, all the time, and was having no problems playing for a few weeks. All the sudden: no briefing rooms are appearing. I've tried all the orbitals, new and old; I've made sure that I'm seeing everyone in the xlink arena, and I've made sure that my rooms are invisible to others. I've un- and reinstalled kai. I've created a new, albeit identical ps2 network config. I'm sure I've done more than this in order to fix things, but to save my sanity I am going to stop there. Ha. Nothing works. HAAAAALLLLP

Problem discovered: ethernet port on laptop is shot. Embarassed
