Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a router? Yes
Did you set a static IP on the PC running Kai? Yes
Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP? Yes
Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable? Yes
What console are you using? Original Xbox
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: Xbox & Computer both connected to router via ethernet cables
Model numbers of the router, and modem? D-Link DSL-g604t
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? Built in firewall disabled & always has been
Operating System? Mac osx 10.6.8
Problem description? Recently I've started having an issue with establishing any pings on any orbital at all. This isn't the usual orb/port issue where you're able to establish some, I really just can't establish any at all (however I am able to establish a ping to everyone once, on engine start up, but not after that). XLink still works perfectly on my secondary computer running Windows 7 os. Network is still reachable & my console is still being detected on both.

I've been able to fix it once by forcing xlink to go through a wireless connection & then switching back that method no longer works.

Can you take the screenshot of followings?

1. Port forwarding screen in your router

2. Network in your Mac OS X
3. Network Settings of Kai Config in your Mac OS X

4. Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties in your Windows 7
5. Network Settings of Kai Config in your Windows 7

Port Forwarding Screen

Image

I currently have my computer set to use DHCP with UPnP (kai port: 0). However it does not work with both a static ip, & a forwarded port 30000 with kai port on 30000 or even with a dmz on my computer.

My windows 7 comp currently has obtain ip address automatically as well & obtain dns server automatically. It's also currently using UPnP port forwarding.

The config screen on both is the same apart from the packet capture of course.
