Started playing MHFU again after like 5 years but I am having a hard time setting up either Wi-Fi Max or the GW adapters. I follow the guides in the Xlink Kai wikis, but for Wi-Fi max the ZDWLan utility opens and closes right away, and as far as I remember it is needed for the PSP to connect to Xlink Kai.

For the GW one, I install all drivers fine but in properties it doesn't have "PSP link mode", so it seems without that an adapter won't work.

All drivers I downloaded following the links in the Xlink Kai wiki. Are there newer adapters that are better compatible with Xlink Kai? I don't mind buying a new one, seeing how these ones were purchased like 5 years ago. If anyone can help, Me and a friend will really appreciate it.

I think that you have installed the incorrect driver to your computer.

Which operating system are you using?
32-bit or 64-bit?

Have you read the following guide?
http://teamxlink.co.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=evo7:gw-usmini2n_for_windows_7

If no, try installing the following driver after uninstalling the current driver.
http://www.planex.net/driver/wireless/GW-USMini2N/GW-USMini2N_Vista_Xlink_v1.0_CE.zip

If yes, can you take two screenshots in your Windows 7?
- The Advanced tab of Network Adapter Properties
- The Driver tab of Network Adapter Properties

That is the guide I followed, everything works fine until step 8. For some reason the GW adapter will not show up on the Xlink Kai web interface.

Can you see the "IEEE 802.11 Wireless Card." in your Network Adapter list?
If yes, choose one and then save config and restart kai.

Al right, We are starting to get somewhere, thanks.

Here are my Xlink Kai settings and how the PSP shows up on Windows and Kai

My network shows as unreachable. I haven't been able to test a connection because there are no people in the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite arenas.
