[RESOLVED] PS3 is not detected

What console are you using? PS3
Is your console being detected? No
Brief description of your network setup: Wireless connection to laptop, wired from laptop to PS3
Model numbers of the router, and modem? Cisco DPC3825
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? Windows Firewall, no changes
Operating System? Windows 7
Problem description? MAC address for my PS3 is displayed but does not connected correctly when I search for LAN games on Borderlands.

I've never tried borderlands but on halo3 I know you had to delete any
updates related to halo3 from the system before it would work properly.
If you can see your PS3 MAC on Kai then the problem should lie with the
PS3 or game. Hope this helps!

I deleted all of the borderlands game data I had and it still did not work but thanks

Did the person you are attempting to connect with delete the extra content as well?

Maybe person you trying to connect with donâ€™t have xlink setup right, or you on wrong subnet. XLink will still detect your system if it on wrong subnet, but won't work unless other people are on the wrong subnet which is not recommended.

If you able to go on after 1:00 PM EST time post here what time and I could see if you have it setup right, or not.

So turned out nothing was wrong with my connection, the interface just doesn't ever say my console is configured lol
