i found this amazing little piece of tech online:
http://www.raspberrypi.org/. one of the many OS used is linux and was wondering if anyone had any experience using this with the linux version of kai or if this could be adapted into other applications to progress kai futher.

it already runs XBMC and various video game emulators.

Since kaid is now unsupported I've been (extremely slowly) working on removing the GUI dependency from the current version of kai so it can run headless (no desktop at all). Once that is done we could probably compile it to run an as raspberry pi!

wasnt kaid accessible from XBMC via modded xboxs? i might be mistaken. I think if that feature was implemented into a custom xbox UI it would be neat. maybe even have private chat in the HUD while playing a game. i dont know the limitations.

Quick update here, I've made a *lot* of progress on making a headless version of kai, and raspberry pi binaries should be coming soon! Smile
I'll be setting up my dev environment on my pi tonight.

EDIT: I'm now compiling xlink's dependencies Smile
EDIT2: Hit a bit of a snag... please stand by
