Will the titles on this list work on kai if I am using an nstc version on an nstc xbox and a friend on a pal system is using the pal version of the game?

I doubt it should matter, its just the format of the game's discs, not the game's files.

Often on older consoles they are incompatible due to different framerates. PAL is 50Hz, NTSC is 60Hz and often game timings are tied to it. Sad

Yes to all of them (though Phantom Dust has no PAL version) confirmed through my personal experience.
