IDEA ABOUT WAY ROUND 30MS PING PATCH

Okay here go's
say you connect your xbox 360 to a vpn so did you friend who wants to join and are connected to same server for example HOST IP: 1.1.1.1 PLAYER IP 1.1.1.2

Surely the ping will be neil as its coming from the same server could be wrong just a theory Smile

This thread looks dead in the water (posted back in July), but he may actually be onto something here. The only thing that concerns me is the lag between each player/the host and the vpn. But if all the players live in close range of eachother (but ping is too high for w/e reason normally) if they all connect to a local vpn in their area, this might just work.

No, VPN's only mask your connection to your ISP, it won't improve your ping in any way, the only way to get a lower and/or get around the ping limit would be:

The ping patch for soft/hard modded Xbox 360's
Faster internet (FiOS is usually the fastest with pings averaging 8-10ms)
Moving/living closer to other players
