That problem seems to happen on debian based distros Sad
Run this to fix the error: sudo mkdir /root/.xlink

Thanks got it working. But metrics says its 7.4.28 still.
Is that normal??i thought it was 7.4.29

We might have forgotten to bump the version number on the pi build, oops!

You need to create the .xlink directory manually.

edit: Ops did not notice this was already answer by CrunchBite.

You will need to change it via command line using the below (without the angled brackets).

Code:
sudo ./kaiengine --orb <ORB NAME HERE>


The active orb names are listed below.

  • ADVANCED_SYDNEY
  • ADVANCED_LONDON
  • ADVANCED_CHICAGO
  • ADVANCED_OTTAWA
