STILL can't see every player in arena!

I've read through the forums extensively about gaming for ps2 particularly, the socom series. I've managed to read enough info. to understand that port forwarding is only needed when using a non-UPnP router/modem(what have you). I've managed to setup portforwarding with the simple port forwarding program available for win 7(that's what I'm using...Windows 7 HP laptop, with wireless>ethernet>ps2). After confirming that i indeed have a router that has uPnP, and after setting up the port-forwarding, on the router settings as well as windows firewall exemptions,(fyi, i disabled the firewall on the router). I read (within the last couple days) that with the uPnP router you don't need ports to be forwarded. soo, after changing my port settings in the configs ui. I'm still unable to see every available in the arenas i frequent (ps2 Socom 2/CA). please any help is appreciated. thank you
PS i'm familiar with "re-orbing" in some this does help, yet even still there may be 25 ppl in the room/arena and after cycling through all available orbs i may still be missing players.
