Monthly Game Night 7 - 25 to Life

The first Saturday of every month, we will play a larger game, announced several weeks before hand (so people have enough time to clear their schedules). The games played will be ones that require a larger number of players than those that usually turn up during the standard nights.

Last month, an insufficient background check into the meme candidate Nascar Heat 2002 led us to playing a game with a player limit of just 8. Through the use of multiple lobbies though, we salvaged the game night. The big, 200 lap race at Talladega began at 8:45 EDT sharp, as a homage to Demon's totally unacceptable lateness during the Timesplitters event, even though when one member who will remain unnamed left in protest, he himself became over an hour late.

The race started off with the stupid bots crashing into each other, causing one human racer to become very mad at them & destroy all of their cars as a result. A few laps in, one racer started playing their game through a mirror as they seemed to start having trouble telling the difference between a left & right turn, & started driving backwards. This made waffles (a southerner, who sources say is too poor to afford a mic), quit Nascar altogether, & retire to his farm with his lifetime winnings of $2,000,000,000 NZD (approximately $2 USD).

At the halfway point, only 2 racers were left. Myth, the crowd favourite had established a small lead over runner-up MrCokeacola of 21 laps. However, when Myth's wireless headset died, it became a real test of endurance. The real enemy of boredom kicked in. However, Myth held out, & after another 1.5 hours, he became Xbox Kai Fam's first ever Nascar champion, & then subsequently quit video games for good.

For November, 25 to Life defeated Return to Castle Wolfenstein 7 votes to 4.
