Configure Kai issues

After downloading Xlink onto my computer, and clicking "configure kai" nothing happens...

On windows 10, my computer attempts to open a webpage but nothing is found.

On windows xp, clicking it does nothing at all...

The interface semi works, but I can't login since it's not configured

Hi,

On the first launch of the engine, a default configuration is set which allows normal operations of the UI even if you haven't yet logged in. If you can, please answer the following questions so I can get a better idea of things.

Do you have any anti-virus software running?
Which browser do you use and the version?

on the windows 10
- no antivirus software, and was allowed by firewall

Microsoft edge tries to open http://127.0.0.1:34522/config.htm but fails after that

However I was able to log into interface and hook up to my xbox just fine

on the windows xp
- has Nortons antivirus but program is allowed on it and firewall

I can't log into interface... It just never stops trying to connect

kai configure doesn't promt any browser to open on this computer
