With finals wrapping up for most people, we got some great games going over Kai last Saturday.

The night started off with Rallisport Challenge 2 & Ghost Recon 2 going simultaneously. I took part in the rallisport races, where we did a tour of various rally & hillclimb race tracks before finishing off with some crossover.

Players from the two groups then came together for Call of Duty 3 ffa deathmatch as the weekly Mechassault matches started around 10pm eastern.

The COD 3 group finally finished off with (Drunk) ToCA Race Driver 3. We did two championships, Super Trucks & then DTM. Virtually everyone was disqualified because we were playing burnout-style with rules on, hahaha.

Ghost Recon 2 - 4 players
Call of Duty 3 - 6 players
ToCA Race Driver 3 - 6 players
Mechassault - 9~ players
Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf - 9~ players

Good games to all who I played with, and see you again this weekend!

Although there were a few connectivity issues with Kai the past weekend, we still got some good gaming done.

The bi-weekly Euro game night saw 5 players playing PGR 2 on Friday. We did a tour of every city on offer in the game for just over two hours, before codedwrench & myself finished off by playing a little Halo 2: Combat Evolved (a mod for Halo 2).

Saturday featured cult classic Vietnam war game Men of Valor & the regular Mechassault.

Friday

Project Gotham Racing 2 - 5 players

Saturday

Men of Valor - 5 players
Mechassault - ? players
Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf - ? players

There is some Conker: Live & Reloaded planned for this Saturday. It's a highly requested title, so hope to get a bigger turnout then.

In addition to an abundance of other stuff played, the Conker sessions generated an impressive 15 players in total (11 at the same time), tripling the turnout from the prior week.

Conker: Live & Reloaded - 15 players
Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike - 2 players
Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf - 10+ players
Mechassault - ? players
Forza Motorsport - 2 players
25 to Life - 4 players
Conflict: Global Storm - 2 players

Monthly game night weekend. Big Red One went great in spite of the NAT traversal issues the game has. With good co-ordination in rehosts after every match (the game doesn't disconnect people automatically when the host leaves), we were able to get many 10 player games of domination, ctf, and team deathmatch going.

My personal highlight was when I snuck into the enemy base to pick up their flag, and rode back on a stolen tank, while all who played also enjoyed laughing at the exaggerated ragdoll physics in the game.

Friday:

Call of Duty 3 - 5 players

Saturday:

Call of Duty 2: Big Red One - 12+ players
Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf - 6+ players

Apologies for skipping the roundups for the last 2 weeks. I got a little busy, & they slipped my mind. The highlights were a Crimson Skies event a single day before the announcement of backwards compatibility for the game on the Xbox One, and a Far Cry: Instincts Evolution headshot contest on the 16th.

This weekend kicked off with gun wielding monkeys in Timesplitters: Future Perfect on Friday night, followed by 25 to Life and Mechassault, and ending with Rallisport, with Saturday night featuring Sega's classic arcade racer, Outrun 2(006) accompanied by the usual Mechassault 2 at 10pm EDT.

Friday:

Timesplitters: Future Perfect - 7 players
25 to Life - 7 players
Mechassault - 3+ players
Rallisport Challenge 2 - 4 players

Saturday:

Outrun 2006 - 5 players
Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf - 8+ players

I've been using my xbox primarily as a linux box for retro gaming, but I plan on setting XBMC4Xbox soon, so I can use it as a media center and an actual Xbox again soon. Add me to your buddy lists. My xbox is currently broken atm, but its an easy fix, then i just need to setup XBMC etc. I'll post back here, when I'm up and running again Smile.

I primarily play ps2 over kai, but i'd love to play some Xbox as well Smile

The Halo 2: Combat Evolved mod was on the menu last Saturday, as 8 players hopped on for a few games, with the highlight being a 6 round classic CTF match on Waterworks. If you haven't played it yet, I definitely would recommend trying it out. It's essentially a balance mod that makes the gameplay closer to Halo 1 multiplayer.

Halo 2: Combat Evolved - 8 players
MotoGP - 3 players
Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf - 12+ players
Mechassault - ? players
