Editing the xml file on XBMC

Can someon please show me the proper way to set up the pc and kai, i know you have to edit the xml file like relax. Please demonstrate, thank you.

Can you start kai through xbmc or do you have to go to the pc nd start it up. thank you.

I had a problem with this also I did not have to edit the xml file at all I just set up my Xtag and pass in the system general xlink kai menu

and for the Kai engine you just opened up the config tool and selected the engine only for dashboards

then just run Kai on the PC then go to the xbox and load up XBMC (if your in it when the Kai engine is running you will need to restart xbmc)

and go to my programs and go to xlink kai from their if your Xtag and pass are right you show be able to go thought the arena list

Thank you but, i wasn't having the problem editing my xlink user name and pw, on the newer xbmc you don't have tp put that in. what i was asking is your able to browse you pc hd, by editing the xml, i forgot how. i did it once b4 with relax i'm assuming its the same way.

what i'm asking is for an example on how to do it or a tutorial, my xlink works fine for game don't have a problem anymore, but the only way i can play is by first going into a game system link then exiting, hence finding xbox, then it works there has to be an easier way to find the xbox other then starting a game.

also i used to get xbox-scene new scroll on top and the weather now neither work, any ideas on how to get it to work. thanks

if you do not have the news feed scrolling then it may be the connect to your xbox to router or how ever your set up is try testing you connectily with something that uses the net

like the web radio or movie trainers

if that does not work then most likely your getting a connection problem between your xbox,pc and net
