Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang
trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do
their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family
has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards
disaster.On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops
frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across
the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control
of the streets.

Hmm, Im kinda bored of the whole GTA thing, couldnt get into Vice City after GTA:III. Hopefully this will help  |

i prefere vice citty over gta 3. but hey, thats becouse of vice citty has that same mood settings as in the time the commodore 64 still ruled as a game computer. needless to say i owned a C64, and still got it in working condition in the spare room !
also the motor's help to get a funnyer feeling in the game. i just love to cruize around the citty, looking for jumps and jumps from high buildings. that mission where you had to go over the rooftops is way cool !
i am curious what mood setting GTA san andreas has, couse if it comes on xbox, i will surely buy it. |

I got this a day b4 it got released!!! (yesterday) cuz I preordered it and at EB Games it came out at 7 pm  |

A mate of mine lent me the game last nite for my ps2.
Its pretty cool, dont get me wrong.but i dont think it rates the score IGN gave it. 9.9
It does take the whole GTA thing to the next level. The soundtrack is amazing, nothing like doing a drive by to the thumping beats of dre.hahah. |

so what... halo 2 is just one game, there are hudreds of different games, why only talk about one.

Exactly...
Not only is Halo2 just ONE game, it's basically the SAME game as Halo in my opinion, while GTA:SA is far and away my favorite PS2 game in some time...and the best thing about it is it's basically a BUNCH of games (shooter, racer, RPG, etc. all rolled into one...)...
Reguardless...GTA:SA ROCKS!!! Took me heck of a long time to beat it...and i'm still only 50.05 % done with it!!! (according to the stats screen)...
