Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? Yes
Is your console being detected? No
Brief description of your network setup: (See below)
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? No
Operating System? XP Pro
Problem description? No console found
kaiPort=8602
kaiDeepPort=0
kaiAccept=LOCAL
kaiTimeout=NOUI
kaiNIC=2
kaiLaunch=BOTH
kaiHomebrew=OFF
kaiPAT=OFF
kaiAutoLogin=ON
kaiAllowBadNICS=OFF
kaiWireless=
kaiUI=Default
Network setup: PC running Kai connected to Linksys WRT54G. Xbox on 5-port EFAH05W hub with WET54G wireless uplink.
Hard-wiring Xbox to router works fine. I've tried setting up MAC address forwarding to no avail. All software firewalls disabled; all wireless security disabled as well. No matter what I try, can't get Kai to see the Xbox over the wireless. Please help! |

In the WET54G, there's probably an option on the control panel to do MAC address cloning. Make the WET54G have the same MAC address as the XBox. |

This makes sense, thanks for the reply. I'll try it tonight to see if it works, and post the results.
I had this setup with plans to put a PVR PC on the hub as well... should I throw that out the window and use seperate wireless receivers for the xbox and pvr? Or is there a way to get this to work? |

Sorry but I have little to no idea what PVR is. Probably recordable TV or something only available in the US? |

PVR= personal video recorder... it's actually a PC with a TV tuner card and software for recording live TV, etc.
My question was basically if I could use the WET54G as a bridge for more than one system with MAC cloning turned on... I may even have a 2nd xbox on this hub, as well as the PC.
Never got a chance to test MAC cloning last night... I'll have to try tonight. |

I think you can only hook one device in to the WET54G, considering it's only got the one port. I don't believe hooking that up to a hub and having other multiple devices attached will work, but I could be wrong.
Update: User did not respond within 5 days. Setting to Problem Solved. |
