Everything seems fine, I can see the amount of users in each room, etc. However, I go as far as I can go, and nothing pops up on my xbox Tv screen.

Is your network reachable? It says Not Yet
Are you using a port-forward?
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup:Xbox to router, router to computer.
Do you use a software firewall? Yes, but It's disabled
What brand? Norton, but it's disabled
Have you made any changes to it? Disabled it
Operating System? Windows XP
Problem description? Everything seems fine, I can see the amount of users in each room, etc. However, I go as far as I can go, and nothing pops up on my xbox Tv screen.

Just curious as to how you think everthing seems right when

Had you followed the Quick Start Guide (step 5), you would see this is definately a problem.

According to your config file you're portforwarding 3074 UDP, but made no mention up the top next to 'Are you using a port-forward?'.

1. Go to your router and portforward 30000 UDP to the PC's IP.
2. Put 30000 in the Kai Config. Tool
3. This is all heavily documented on the website.
4. If after following steps 1 and 2 and you still don't see games, Norton's firewall is at fault. Disabling firewalls *DOES NOT* open up ports the XBox requires in systemlink (systemlink requires 0.0.0.1 full access on 3074 UDP). Either configure Norton somehow to allow that, or uninstall it and test it works without it there.

I'm well aware that the network not being detected is a problem. I simply meant everything is working out besides that.

I tried doing what you asked, but I'm not quite sure I did it correctly. I tried to change the port to 30000 on my router, and I think I did it correctly. Here's a pic of what I did. I changed the Port to 30000 on the Kai config, and it still didn't work.

I haven't got X-ray vision, but from what I can see, in the private IP box you've put your public IP.

Private IP should be the *INTERNAL* IP address of the PC that runs Kai. Just run a MS-DOS prompt on the PC and type in

ipconfig /all

and look what's next to 'IP Address'. Should be something like 192.168.0.x considering you use a DLink.

Start -> Run -> cmd

or

Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt

or if you run WindowsXP and you've got the connection status icon in the systemtray, just double click it and hit on 'Support'.

Now the games pop up, but disappear quickly.

Actually, scratch that, I just got into one, but my headset won't work.

Scratch that one more time. It all works. Thank you so much Smile
