well game wise you have metroid prime2 and resident evil 4, not to mention the new zelda coming which looks sweet, as far as telling your parents, i would say you should use the family time approach, there are some cool games that are suitable for the whole family and easy to play like donky konga, and the new mario party with voice support.  |

Well lets start with:
A - uber cheep
B - has several bundles
C - great for multiplayer games so you can play with your siblings
D - great games such as RE4, smash bros, MP2:E, Zelda etc. |

and it has the best games out, mp and mp2e not to say paper mario ttyd, plus u can get games like goldeneye ra and nfsu2 |

It simply has the best, most original games out there. XBox and PS2 are mostly just shooters and racing games, though PS2 does have a few more original games. But GameCube has Mario (okay, I admit, I like Mario games, there! That doesn't make me a little kid :p ), Zelda: The Wind Waker (awesome game), the new Zelda game coming, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 (sweet), Super Smash Bros Melee (one of the best four-player games around), Mario Kart: Double Dash (more fun than most racing games since you can chuck shells at your opponents), etc, etc. And it's cheaper. |

Look, you would simply get Nintendo if you like their exclusives. Do you like the original Nintendo characters Mario, Luigi, Samus, and so forth? If you do, there's no reason not to get the Gamecube. |
