Is your network reachable? Yes
Are you using a port-forward? No
Is your console being detected? Yes - When I get it to run
Brief description of your network setup:
Operating System? Windows 2003 Advanced Server. The server has 3 NICs. The first one is for broadband and is the internet connection. The second one is an OpenVPN TAP adapter running on 10.20.68.* and the third one is the LAN connection which is a 4 port ADMTek router card which sits on 10.20.72.*. Routing and remote access is configured and running nicely.
Problem description? Kai blue screens the server often when I launch the engine.

KaiUserConfig]
kaiUsername=<hidden>
kaiPassword=<hidden>
kaiPort=0
kaiDeepPort=0
kaiAccept=ALL
kaiTimeout=NEVER
kaiNIC=3
kaiLaunch=ENGINE
kaiHomebrew=OFF
kaiPAT=OFF
kaiAutoLogin=ON
kaiAllowBadNICS=OFF
kaiWireless=
kaiUI=Default

OK. I was using a network bridge, but having read an articale suggesting that KAI didn't like it, I removed it and setup two seperate subnets for my VPN and LAN. Kai is configured to use the ADMTek card. Kai was blue screening with a network bridge.

Kai ran nicely last night, but just blue screened when I rebooted the server and tried to start it. So I'm officially 1/2 with it. I am a little afraid to start it up again as I am working remotely and have no way of rebooting it from here.

Any ideas. The network bridge is a real pain. I prefer to be able to use it.

The NIC you've selected is the one is connected to the console right?

Kai doesn't like network bridges (well the psSDK), but I would take a look if there's any driver updates for your NICs also.

*EDIT* no reply in couple of days, assuming problem solved -tizzo
