Yes I had this problem, I use the same version of windows as you. What happens is that your computer totally crashes.
I went to add/remove programs and uninstalled WinPCap. I went to the WinPcap site and download pcap 3.1 beta. I installed it. I think I then uninstalled and reisntalled Kai too.
Since then I havent had the crashing problem, It may just be a coinicidence though. |

I did what u said, installed the beta, and i couldnt even see the games. i asked in the channel and die-hard said to use the 3.01 alpha. so i did, i saw games, but the restart bs happened again. i updated my dirvers and the same thing happened again. he also told me to change my internal ip, i did, and same problem. still no resolution. |

What is happening here is you have a WinPcap incompatable network adaptor connected to your pc. Kai tries to send a command to that card either telling it to listen or broadcast, the card (usualy wireless or USB) insted of ignoring the command, rejects it causing either a blue screen or reset.
Now of course it's a bit more in depth than that but that should give you the general idea.
For now the best option if possable is to remove the network adaptor. For some this will not be possable as it is your USB modem causing the conflict.
This will be resolved soon. |
