16 but MS-DOS Subsystem error?

I keep getting this error today when i try to run the launcher.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still happens.

I'm getting the same thing. I've reinstalled both Kai and WinPCap.

It happens right after the "downloading" stage of initializaion. The progress bar finishes and then it just crashes. This is the first time I've had it crash on me since launch day.

oh, and I'm running WinXP.
