not able to hear everyone with coms in halo 2

I have the same problem with the host hearing people but the other people can't here eachother. I also know that the poeple I was playing with all have routers and don't have the kai port set to 30000. I'll try and get everyone to set the kai pot and foreward it through the router to see if it works then.

That guy didn't even say if it worked on XBC, unless I'm not reading it correctly.. He just wanted to say 'XLink is terrible' and leave that to the reason. Well if that's how it works, neXBC is terrible, XBC is terrible (from the style of joining, to the users, to the UI).. Still doesn't explain if it works over there or not though..

IT WORKS RIGHT ON GAMESPY AND XBC
I LIKE KAI OVER EVERY OTHER TUNNEL SOFTWARE BY FAR.

THIS IS WHY I ASKED CUZ THE ONLY WAY IT WORKS RIGHT KAI IS IF YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE PLAYING IN THE MESSENGER MODE AND EVERYONE IS ONE THE HOSTS LIST AND EACH OTHERS LIST OR YOU CAN'T HEAR THEM?

SO SOMEONE PLEAE FIX THIS CUZ IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE FUN BEING ABLE TO TALK TO YOUR TEAM.

So you're saying it works properly in messenger mode but not arena mode. In that case we'll have a look at that, but also, could some people please try playing in

Arena / XBox (yes, in this arena). You see we cna tweak certain arenas when there's troubles with bandwidth and when a game should be considered 'ingame'. If you play outside the Halo 2 arenas, you will get the standard routing threshold and modes, so just try it in Arena / XBox..

In this (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=308602&st=0&#entry2068881) thread someone is suggesting it has to do something with router settings too. I'll test that too tonight.

I think you may be on to something here.. This problem has not come up until recently, so maybe it has something to do with the fixes for the game flickering in the Halo2 arenas.. Interesting to test out!

if it helps i think it worked ok when i first started to use kai. about 3 or 4 weeks ago. than it changed.

also i'v talked to alot of guys on the site it seems all have the same problem.
lastly when we use mess mode the voice is fine BUTT kai freezzes on us all the time? somtimes one kai or more but not all of them at one time it leaves one out of 7 of are kai's running. say's error ? orbitlal lost

is there a way to set up the kai to let us invite others from chat to a password room? we can't see the arena chat to talk to others to give tham a password. i hope i make some sence ? lol

yes it works fine in this arena arena/box now can you guys fix it??

Just played it in messenger mode and then it works like it's supposed to, makes the game so much cooler!

OK well I'm scared about changing it in the main Halo 2 Americas arena, as it could end up breaking things for everyone in there, so what I'll do is have to meet up with you and some guys, and turn it on in say the Europe arena where there's a few less people. If game flickering is stable and it works, I'll then move the changes over into the main Halo 2 Americas arena.
