I checked WP Site, forum, and tried to login, but nothing happened. Either they are dead or they are updating everything.
Anyone heard anything? |

I know what you mean MarioKarter...
Crappy... I was looking for the link to that project to play any GC game online. Anyone have it? I think it points to the gbadev forum? |

there is only data sent throught the BBA with games that are designed to use the BBA. The only other way to get a signal or a connection with the BBA is with PSO. But there is power connected from the computer to the BBA, i have link lights. But there is no data being transmitted. Just ping packets. |

Because Warp Pipe trolls come in their masses spamming our comments on the front page. Mind you I've deleted about 50 posts and 4 people. Apparently we had the evil users.. tsk tsk.. |

Yea, gcdevs... stupid me. No sorry, I can't test this at the moment. I'm not even sure if what's been released so far is enough to test with? I haven't been keeping up with it the last couple weeks.

Did you actually read about the project? Supposively it has been done (proof of concept at least). I see little reason why these guys would lie.
Of course there is still tons of work to do, and it may never be finished. But that link is an interesting read at least. Especially considering what they're trying to do has been dismissed cough<points up>cough by so many ppl as "impossible" in the past. |

even if it did work via the PSO hack. games played that way are slow enough.....imagine playing something like SSBM or hmmmm.... 4swords and ummmm... well never mind about the others... would be great.... but HELLA SLOOOOOOOOOOOW.... especially seeing as how they weren't meant to be played that way.... lol they finally got GBA online but at 3fps who wants to play it that way? i hope the dev's can atleast get some playable speeds with it later on:). cause SSBM or 4S would be great online but a game not meant for online.... your gunna have alot of lag/dysnc issues. anyone remmeber playing kaillera on 128Mbit connection? i do... and those were 2d games.... and don't get me started on 3d in kaillera. obviously things have changed since then but don't expect an online revolution or anything. just slow laggy/dsync'd games. but to each his on and if they get it working at 60fps or even 30 with no lag or dsync issues then congrats and i'll definatly be in for some 4S or SSBM. . |
