When im in a chat room, sometimes a person's name scrolls across my screen really fast, and the chat text moves up.

Heres a SS:

Why does it do this?

You're posting in the wrong forum, this if anything is a kaiStation/KAID problem. XBMC just displays what it gets given from the engine, if the engine just wants to fire out chat room stuff then thats all XBMC will handle until something else comes its way. The fact you go to chat view is a 'red herring' as all this stuff happens in the background.

co founder, and this problem has nothing to do with XBMC.

Edit: I believe theres a new release of kaiStation/KAID on its way with fixes for a number of issues.

Indeed there is. I must admit since flashing I haven't manually run the engine since, but I always imagined I was using the Windows kaiEngine - guess I forgot I flashed my router Very Happy
